This article lists German "Schlau" as a cognate; however, the article for "Schlau" states that it is "in all likelihood not related" to "sly". The time unfortunately escapes me at present to do the necessary research to confirm which position is correct; however, an agreement should be sought. 192.76.8.66 12:38, 14 October 2022 (UTC)
