What is your source this the Pashto word was borrowed from Middle Persian? Middle Persian is not the ancestor of Pashto. The nature of the relationship with similar Iranian words should be carefully researched (borrowing from modern Persian or an earlier Western Iranian language, inheritance from the Eastern Iranian ancestor of Pashto?). @Atitarev سړی (sa.ɽaˈi) means a man. سړۍ (sa.ɽəi) is the feminine of the noun that is سړی on grammar-level on the ی (aˈi) to ۍ (əi) changed for nouns that end with "aˈi'" being stressed [when the ی (ai) is not stressed it changes to ې (e)], but in "real-life" I have never heard it being used or being used to denote a "woman" the more common word for woman is ښځه that is xəˈ.d͡za or ʂəˈ.d͡za Adjutor101 (talk) 15:01, 17 January 2016 (UTC)

Words in MacKenzie's dictionary are in Book Pahlavi. This script is not in Unicode. The script you used in 𐭠𐭯𐭫𐭨𐭭 (ʾplṭn) is Inscriptional Pahlavi, which is different from Book Pahlavi.
