Usage notes

edit
  • The sense resident (which is apparently the basis for the noun bonde) is most often used without the declension, treated as an adjective, rather using den boende than boenden, and de boende rather than boendena. When the form boenden is used, it is far more likely to be the plural indefinite of home than the definite singular of resident.
