editFrom Ancient Greek χιλιάγωνος (khiliágōnos), from χίλιοι (khílioi, “thousand”) + γωνία (gōnía, “angle”). Equivalent to chilia- + -gon.

edit- The term chiliagon is rarely used in mathematics, the term "1000-gon" being preferred.
