fag tag (plural fag tags)

  1. A small loop of material on the back of a shirt, used for hanging it.
  2. (slang, derogatory, dated) Such a textile tag, or any other mark or feature on one's person or one's clothing, that allegedly labels one as gay (homosexual), especially in the notional playground lore of schoolchildren raised in a cultural milieu of anti-gay ideology.
