Noun

edit

internegative (plural internegatives) (abbr. IN or I.N.)

  1. A specialized type of negative film stock that is part of the intermediate process that goes from an original negative to a release element (most common in the motion picture film post-production process). The material used is itself the same as in an interpositive. The differences is that an IN has a negative image on it, while an IP has a positive image.
