lonkka
Finnish
editEtymology
editPossibly related to lonkata (“to limp”), which is a Finnic word in origin. Origin from Proto-Germanic *hlankō (“bend, curve, hip, flank”) is also possible, but is rejected by LÄGLOS.[1]
