- ES ſagt die heilig Schrifft / daß der heilig Geiſt ſey vber Chriſto erſchinen am Jordan / in der geſtalt einer Tauben / vnd vber die Apoſtel in fewrigen zungen ꝛc.[sic]
- The holy Bible states / that the Holy Ghost had appeared before Christ in Jordan / in the form of a dove / and above the apostle in fiery tongues etc.

- Note. ue is not a diphthong at the end of a syllable either, as the e finale only indicates that the preceding vowel is long; as in true etc. truh [approximative German pronunciation of true].
