Simien Mountains National Park is located on the western side of the [[Simien Mountains]] and is {{convert|120 |km}} from the Gondar province of Begemder in the northwestern part of [[Ethiopia]]. It is located within the Simien Massif, which rises above the northern highlands of Ethiopia.
