Given the explosion in use of signatures that go against the recommendations of these guidelines (see, for example, Voyagerfan5761's signature, which is virtually unreadable for many users), is there any chance of them being toughened up a little? Also, should the use of template-signatures be allowed? What are the views on (and chances of) getting them forbidden? --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 18:14, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
:I've recently had an issue with User:JHMM13 who insists he will include images in his sig until this is an official policy, a couple other editors have also expressed concern with his signature. I feel that excessive signatures are pointless, distract from the project and clog up pages when editing. I'd be all for beefing up the guideline and making it policy. Aren't template signatures already forbidden? John Reaves (talk) 18:40, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
