There was a recent attempt to revert "GameCube" back to "Nintendo GameCube" when someone unilaterally renamed the article to "GameCube" last year that violated the 2009 consensus. However, the latest consensus prompted the nominator to withdraw the request. If the discussion resulted "no consensus"... could they have reverted the title back to "Nintendo GameCube"? --George Ho (talk) 12:41, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
:I think, "yes". The first non stub has precedence over a bold rename, where it is genuinely no consensus. Note that the recent attempt was not headed for a "no consensus", but a consensus support for the GameCube, and certainly a very easily defended rough consensus. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 12:57, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
