In short, for more there a decade there is a problem with the titles of three articles: [[1947–1949 Palestine war]], [[1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine]] and [[1948 Arab–Israeli War]].<br>It was agreed that there is a need for a common prefix for these three articles, and a neutral title should be chosen.
