Waybackmachine
This article says: "In 2005, Yahoo! began to provide links to previous versions of pages archived on the Wayback Machine."
I cannot find Wayback references when I use Yahoo! search - what am I missing? Ottawahitech (talk) 15:16, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
WHAT DOES "POWERED BY BING" MEAN?
The expression is vague. Please replace it or explain it. Does it mean that Yahoo no longer searches, but merely presents the results of the Bing search??? (68.94.195.56 (talk) 00:51, 15 April 2014 (UTC))
Long list of languages
Is the long list of languages really appropriate for an encyclopedia article? Nurg (talk) 08:57, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
- It does seem unnecessary and out-of-date perhaps. The wikilnking of all the language names should be fixed per Wikipedia:Only make links that are relevant to the context. --Senator2029 “Talk” 03:26, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
Proposed merge with Yahoo! Slurp
Yahoo! Slurp is a Stub-class article without much potential for development. Inclusion in the broader Yahoo! Search article seems better, as it is already mentioned in the Search technology acquisition section. Senator2029 “Talk” 02:51, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
10 November 2015: Removed the proposal to merge Yahoo! Slurp into this article. All information about the Inktomi acquisition and Yahoo's own webcrawler is present in this article. (anonymous)

Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Yahoo! Search. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20071002171751/http://help.yahoo.com:80/l/us/yahoo/search/basics/ to http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/search/basics/
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
An editor has reviewed this edit and fixed any errors that were found.
- If you have discovered URLs which were erroneously considered dead by the bot, you can report them with this tool.
- If you found an error with any archives or the URLs themselves, you can fix them with this tool.
