Reverting of constructive edits
Hi @A Simple Human:
There isn't any difference between your final edits and my edits on Indian cricket team in New Zealand in 2019–20. Why you undid my edits on this page. Can u kindly share did you revert them ? Vikram Maingi (talk) 01:04, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
Hi again @A Simple Human:
Same observation regarding my edits on Zimbabwean cricket team in Bangladesh in 2019–20 page. Once again, my edits that were reversed by yourself were constructive and need not be reversed.
Any specific reason for this action.
I would like to share that I am an active Wikipedia member from India, who has attended a few meets, conducted a few outreaches and attended a couple of trainings/workshops.

- @Vikram maingi: No reason in particular. Sorry for what I deed. I got greedy and wanted to increase my edit counts. My egos intervened. Human (talk) 03:03, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
- @A Simple Human: My edit count must be a lot less than that of yours. Request you not to revert them in furture. :) Vikram Maingi (talk) 12:06, 23 February 2020 (UTC)
@Vikram maingi: Please read Template:Two-innings cricket match and Template:Single-innings cricket match before editing scorecards. It's frustrating to correct someone's mistake often. Also check what you wrote before posting anything. In the comment of yours above you made a spelling mistake. Thanks. Human (talk) 01:12, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
- @A Simple Human: I missed to mention the score of innings in progress in italics, will take care of that in future. Thanks for pointing it out. Vikram Maingi (talk) 02:20, 2 March 2020 (UTC)

Ireland Wolves (A)
Hi... I have created the article. It took much longer than expected as the Cricinfo profiles are quite messed up. Some of the players making a debut it has doubled their stats (i.e. they played 3 matches but CI is showing 6 with twice as many runs/wickets). Also Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton is listed as a debut in game 1 of the T20 series, but his profile says he has played 20 games... and I found him also listed as a debut in this game from 2018, with the link from there pointing to the same profile (which says he debuted just in Feb). Also, the infobox does not have an option for a T20 series so I have had to put it as T20I. Not sure how to fix that, and have left a comment on the template talk page. - PS: I just saw that your article for Afghanistan A v Bangladesh A got deleted. I don't agree with that decision... Unofficial ODIs are still official LA matches, so should be just as notable as say England Lions tours, or any domestic List A event. Things like the Qatar T10 is not even officially recognised, but is apparently ok. And the Nepalese 50-over competition that I covered in January isn't even List A (but I think that is fine because it is clearly an organised top-level domestic competition in a leading assocaite). Anyway, sorry your article got deleted, I think it should have been kept. The Ireland A one will hopefully be ok as I spent ages on it, and it is against a full national side; there are also two previous Ireland A tours that have unquestioned articles. - @Bs1jac: Everything isn't perfect. Wikipedia isn't either. Some of the rules and policies here is confusing. But I guess things will get better in future. About Nicol Loftie-Eaton, CI has two profiles. The one you mentioned here is from South Africa but played for Namibia and the other one is from just Namibia. Their age is one year apart but the interesting thing is it's the same date. I don't know CI is wrong here or not. Human (talk) 18:19, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
- Ps: I am aware that Ireland and Ireland Wolves are different. The page took a long time to prepare on a day in which I was busy with other things, I was using a previous tour as a template, and there were bound to be imperfections on first draft... thanks for correcting but no need to sound judgey in the edit descriptions ("again they are different teams"... obviously!) given that again someone has made the effort to get it started for you. btw you might want to look at the two previous Wolves tours (created by someone else) to see if you would like to make any changes. - @Bs1jac: I get it but there is no need to take everything seriously. I don't know why you are making issue out of a simple edit summary. If you are too emotional then you should stick to writing personal blogs instead of editing here. Yes I sound harsh but that is how I am, you can't change it. I would've created the article if you didn't in the first place. I was just afraid that it might get deleted like the previous one. And as per the rules I wasn't aware of until the article got deleted, I don't care about second tier team tours. But I might get involved if it involves Bangladesh. - ok I appreciate its just your way and I'll ignore it as attitude going forward. Having got the ball rolling with Associate series since the first one in mid-2018 (as well as other things long before), and with some very enjoyable ongoing collaboration with various editors, I think I'm fine here so don't need that kind of comment though! Let's work together respectfully. ps: Real shame that Spain and Germany were a bit poor with their final updates today. Bs1jac (talk) 19:32, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- @Bs1jac: I'm glad we are able to bury the hatchet. I don't want to get into a fight. So please refrain from accusing someone based on edit summaries. I would never put something up in summaries to defame someone. Having more edits won't make anyone greater than someone (unless it's Lugnuts). I'm surprised Germany even lost a match after their show in the regional qualifiers last year. Human (talk) 20:16, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- Great. Just to be clear though, this was not about edit count (unless it is for you?), just unnecessary commenting. I did not intend to sound 'accusing' (so my sincere apologies if that's how you took it), only simply asking to refrain from edit summary comments like those that, imo, arent needed in relation to long-term editors who you know well and collaborate with (doesnt come across all that friendly/respectful, perhaps condescending; and again I was otherwise gratetul for the improvements you were making!). Spain needed a series like this as they had a good record but without having played any of the better European sides... while Germany will never be quite as strong without Craig Meschede who is well respected in county cricket and will probably only play in qualifiers.
