Fair use rationale for Image:Kronos Quartet 2006.jpg

edit

Image:Kronos Quartet 2006.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Discography

edit

I think it's time for the discography to be split into it's own article. It is getting longer and longer, and is still incomplete. ---RepublicanJacobiteThe'FortyFive' 21:24, 9 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's looking good, but I've just edited it because a lot of the wikilinks went, via redirects, back to the original page and it was making me dizzy. The links can be re-added as pages for individual albums are created ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 11:53, 7 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Might be nice to mention the requiem for a dream project was done in collaboration with clint mansell (former pop will eat itself frontman) as he is a well known artist in his own right also.Xtiaaneubaten (talk) 00:24, 9 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Mishima

edit

Is there a reason Mishima: A Life in Four Chapters is not included in the Films list? True, there are other musicians, but Kronos' playing of Philip Glass' String Quartet #3 is a significant part of the soundtrack.76.106.174.246 (talk) 00:27, 21 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

True Stories

edit

Not only Mishima, but True Stories (1986) could be included as well. The soundtrack contains "Dinner Music" performed by the Kronos Quartet with David Byrne of Talking Heads. The scene where it is used featured the late Spalding Gray. Kwyjibear (talk) 04:18, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
