Redirect

edit

Is there any reason this page should not redirect to Stained Glass? I see none, but that redirect has been removed once already so I figured I should bring it up here before redirecting again. KhalfaniKhaldun 21:56, 7 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your comments, I will re-add a redirect. Your edit arrived in the middle of one of mine! Hazel Lockwood (talk) 05:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Actually, I am thinking that this could either be merged to the article Stained glass, or this article be made into a subarticle of stained glass. CardinalDan (talk) 05:49, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

I'm happy for it to be a sub-article of stained glass. Hazel Lockwood (talk) 08:38, 8 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Strongly oppose redirect. No. The generic article on stained glass is already uncomfortably long and doesn't load well on slow computers. Separate articles like this are necessary for all the various major periods/countries of stained glass production. The generic article has only room for a very few pics of medieval glass. This article can be fully furnished with examples of famous medieval glass. I am delighted to see the creation of this article.

Here are some useful pics which have already been found and sorted. I'll track down some more for inclusion, as you chose.
