Wikivoyage:Where you can stick it
Wikivoyage's geographical hierarchy and article skeleton templates give a pretty good level of detail as to what kind of articles we create, how to link them together, what sections should be in those articles, and what information should be in those sections. In other words, if you know what kind of article or section of an article you're working on, you can figure out what kind of information is supposed to go in that article or section.
However, it can be a bit hard to work from the other direction. If you know some information, it can be hard to find exactly where that information is supposed to go. This page is here to provide a kind of reverse directory for showing the best place to put the info you know.
Note: Huge cities or boroughs are divided into districts. Where an item is listed as belonging "in the city article", these listings should be placed at the lowest level (district or sub-district) of a huge city, unless otherwise indicated. The main page for the city serves as an overview, mentioning a few key attractions but providing no listings.

- If there is no Stay healthy section on the page, list medical services here: clinic, dentist, hospital, pharmacy, drug store
- A {{warningbox}} may be moved from Stay safe to the top of the page if a destination (such as a war zone) cannot be visited safely at all.
Stay healthy
Emergency numbers (medical), tap water, medical services (clinic, dentist, hospital, pharmacy, drug store) may be listed here in destinations where this section exists.
This section is optional for city-level articles, but is present in most country pages.

Etiquette, taboos, gestures of greeting/farewell/respect, names (e.g. order of given names and family names), forms of address and titles (how to address people), punctuality, clothing (warnings), dress (warnings, recommended wear), nudity, toplessness, breastfeeding in public, LGBT information (warnings of discrimination in Stay safe), smoking
Be careful not to clutter this section with obvious advice such as "Don't cut in line," or "Don't make fun of people."
This section is optional for anything below country pages, as most cultural norms are not specific to a city or even a region.

Go next
Nearby destinations for day trips or next trips, {{routebox}}es, links to adjacent towns with articles.
For a small town surrounded by rural villages with only one or two points of interest each, this may be split as:
- == Nearby ==
- === Name of small village ===
- listing for the one landmark in small village
- === Name of another village ===
- listing for the one landmark in another village
- == Go next ==
- Routeboxes and names of adjacent towns which have an existing page, itineraries which pass through the city
This split is normally not needed for large cities as the adjacent communities will have their own pages.
