הָרַג (harág) (pa'al construction, passive counterpart נֶהֱרַג)

  1. to kill (put to death).

      הֵן֩ גֵּרַ֨שְׁתָּ אֹתִ֜י הַיּ֗וֹם מֵעַל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הָֽאֲדָמָ֔ה וּמִפָּנֶ֖יךָ אֶסָּתֵ֑ר וְהָיִ֜יתִי נָ֤ע וָנָד֙ בָּאָ֔רֶץ וְהָיָ֥ה כָל־מֹֽצְאִ֖י יַֽהַרְגֵֽנִי
      Here you have driven me from the face of the earth, and from you I will be hidden, and I will be a wanderer and an exile on the land, and it will happen that whoever finds me will kill me.
