Citations, please? At the moment, they look like joke entries. — Paul G 17:33, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- The second one I've heard and used myself (US). (Aren't the tags in the entry on the wrong senses? Or one is?) —This unsigned comment was added by Robert Ullmann (talk • contribs) 12:04, 19 April 2007 (UTC).
- Hekaheka added the tag to sense 4 and removed it from sense 6 in this edit. He/she didn't add sense 4 to this page or attempt to justify removing the tag from sense 6. —RuakhTALK 19:56, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
RFV failed. Senses removed. —RuakhTALK 16:04, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, I did not notice the rfv earlier. Put the sense "hole in paint" back, equipped with a reference to dictionary.com. Refer also to Robert Ullmann's comment above. A quick search in internet resulted in some examples of that sense. Example: Painting and varnishing are some of those life skills that one should be careful about displaying anything resembling competency with, like laundry and cooking. I always leave a “holiday” here or there just to make sure. (http://www.mainewindjammerblog.com/2007_04_01_archive.html)
- PS. I still do not see why 3. and 4. are diffrent senses. Hekaheka 07:24, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
4. holy day, esp. any of several usually commemorative holy days observed in Judaism. --Backinstadiums (talk) 18:06, 21 December 2020 (UTC)
