TV Article Broad City season 4: Ilana Glazer, Abbi Jacobson announce release date 'It's gonna be, seriously, like, so good,' Ilana Glazer teases By Ariana Bacle Published on December 7, 2016 03:42PM EST Photo: Comedy Central Broad City is coming a bit later than usual next year — but it’s still coming. In a video posted to the comedy’s official Twitter account, stars and creators Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson shared that their Comedy Central show’s fourth season will debut in August 2017. And Glazer promises “it’s gonna be, seriously, like, so good.” The first three seasons of Broad City premiered in the winter months — last season kicked off in February and ended its 10-episode run this past April — but its stars have gotten even busier since it first started airing in 2014, perhaps contributing to the later start date this time around. Jacobson just published a new book, voices a character in the upcoming The Lego Ninjago Movie, and is also starring in an upcoming Netflix drama titled 6 Balloons opposite Dave Franco. Meanwhile, Glazer stars in EmojiMovie: Express Yourself and is filming Rock That Body, a comedy also featuring Scarlett Johansson, Zoë Kravitz, Kate McKinnon, and Jillian Bell. Although Glazer and Jacobson haven’t revealed how long the series will last, they previously talked to EW about its future. “It doesn’t feel like it should exist forever,” Jacobson said in April. “I would never want it to go on too long where it starts to feel old and generic.” Watch their clip teasing the new season below.
