Banishga (バニシュガ, Banishuga?), also known as Banish III, is a recurring magic attack and an upgrade of Banish.

Banishga is an upgraded version of the Banish type spells. It is a White Magic spell that deals Light-based elemental damage to all enemies in a limited Area of Effect. The spell is particularly effective against undead, and may also lower an undead monster's Defense. It is learned by White Mages (level 15). It can be recast every 30 seconds.


Final Fantasy XIV

Banish III is an enemy ability available to the Corrupted Sprite and Light Sprite enemies. The ability deals strong unaspected damage to all _targets in the opposing party. It has a long cast time that can be interrupted by abilities such as Interject or inflicting Stun Stun.

Banish III is also usable by Minfilia/Ryne whe she is in the party as a part of Trust System. It acts as her equivalent to Ninja's Suiton, allowing her to use abilities that normally require being hidden.

Banishga is a Black Magic spell that inflicts major Light-elemental damage. It costs 4 AP to cast and it has a spell power of 15. The spell can only be used if the Banishga Tome item is in the character's inventory. The spell can only be purchased Spelvia for 5,000 gil.

A variation called Strong Banishga can be used when two Psyched Up characters cast Banishga during the same turn.

Banishga is an HP attack learned by Prishe (level 36). She will gather energy in her hands before quickly releasing it in a large explosion that hits all the way around her; enemies that are close to her when the attack goes off get dealt a small amount of Bravery damage before taking HP damage. It costs 40 CP to use and 130 AP to master.
