The Defense Gloves is the second strongest gauntlet usable by Steiner, Freya, as well as Beatrix though the player cannot see this in a normal playthrough. It provides 25 Evasion, 20 Magic Evasion, +1 Defense and Magic Defense, halves damage from Fire, Ice, and Thunder-elemental damage, and teaches the ability HP+20%. It can be bought for 6,000 gil at Daguerreo and Bran Bal.
