Lost Friends is an Odd Job in Chapter 3, "Home Sweet Slum", in Final Fantasy VII Remake, taking place in the Sector 7 Slums. While Tifa Lockhart gives Cloud Strife a tour of the Sector 7 Slums, the two talk to Betty, a friend of Marlene Wallace, who has lost her cats.
Walkthrough
Follow the marker to Betty, who is located in the southern area of Sector 7. She will then ask Cloud to look for her cats. Talking to Betty will reveal clues. Cloud must for three white cats, in the following locations:
- The eastern-most end of the Residential Area, referred to by Betty as the "road to the station", is where the first cat can be found. This is just before the road to the Pillar Plaza, still within the Residential Area. Upon approaching it, the two hear cat noises, and Tifa will draw attention to them.
- Outside Seventh Heaven. The cat is located just in front of the door. Once again, Tifa draws attention to it when close.
- Finally, north of Beginner's Hall, head east of the Stargazer Heights Apartments and talk to the Undercity Resident with a green marker over her head. She is trying to coax the pastry-pinching pussycat out from its hiding spot among ferals. Hear her out, then travel through the tunnel, where Betty's cat can be found.
After approaching and interacting with the cats, they will flee. Once all have been found, return to Betty to inform her that the cats ran away. After talking to her, Betty will give them maiden's kiss and their HP/MP will be fully restored, as the quest is complete.
