Mythril Armlet (ミスリルの腕輪 or ミスリルのうでわ, Misuriru no Udewa?, lit. Mithril Bracelet), also known as Mythril Bracers, is a recurring armor piece in the Final Fantasy series. It is party of the mythril equipment set.

Mythril Bracers is a low-ranked arm armor that can be bought for 120 gil at Kazus and Canaan, or found in Tozus. It can be equipped by the Onion Knight, Freelancer, and all mage classes.
In the NES version, it provides 2 Defense, 3 Magic Defense, and 7% Evade. In the 3D versions, it provides 2 Defense, 4 Magic Defense, +1 Intellect/Mind.
Final Fantasy VII
The Mythril Armlet is a low-ranked armor that provides 18 Defense, 3 Def%, 8 Magic Defense, and two Materia slots in a linked pair with normal growth. It is initially equipped on Red XIII, and can be bought for 350 gil at Wall Market, Junon, and Kalm, and drops from Heli Gunner.

The Mythril Armlet is an accessory that provides MP +100% and immunity to Silence, and when one is used in Materia Fusion, it provides MP +10%. It can be dropped from Three Stars, found in a chest in missions 2-5-6, 6-4-6, 7-6-4, 9-4-2, and 9-5-6, or as a finish reward 7-4-4.
Final Fantasy VII Remake
The Mythril Armlet is a piece of armor with good stats and two linked materia slots. It provides +10 to Defense and +40 to Magic Defense. Aerith joins the party with one equipped, and it is available to purchase from weapon shops after this point.
Final Fantasy IX
The Mythril Armlet is a low to mid-ranked armlet that provides 17 Evasion, 11 Magic Evasion, +1 Spirit level up bonus, and teaches Bug Killer. It can be bought for 500 gil at Cleyra, Lindblum (second storyline visit), Dragon's Gate Merchant, Fossil Roo, Conde Petie, Black Mage Village before going through the Shimmering Island portal, Alexandria, Esto Gaza before the Desert Palace, and Daguerreo before going through Shimmering Island, and stolen from Thorn and found at Pinnacle Rocks. Everyone except Steiner and Freya can equip it. The Mythril Armlet is used in synthesis later on to make the Thief Gloves.

The Mythril Armlet is an armor for Kimahri, obtainable if the dominant abilities on any armlet are any Defense+% and Magic Defense +% abilities.

Mythril Armlet (FFVII Remake) is an accessory that is obtained during the Final Fantasy VII Remake event, Chronicle Battle: The Valkyrie. It provides 5 DEF, 20 SPR, and SPR +20%. At +3, it provides 5 DEF, 30 MAG, 20 SPR, SPR +20%, and when equipped by a FFVII unit, increases magic damage against beasts and undeads by 50%.

Etymology
mithril" is a metal found in many fantasy worlds. It was originally introduced by the fantasy writings of J. R. R. Tolkien, being present in his Middle-earth. It resembles silver but is stronger than steel, and much lighter in weight than either. The author first wrote of it in The Lord of the Rings, and it is retrospectively mentioned in the third, revised edition of The Hobbit in 1966. In the first 1937 edition, the mail shirt given to Bilbo is described as being made of "silvered steel". The name mithril comes from two words in Sindarin—mith, meaning "grey" or "mist", and ril meaning "glitter".
