Sky Grinder

Kain SkyRave — Sky Rave in *Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy*.

Sky Grinder (スカイグランダー, Sukai Gurandā?, lit. Sky Grander), also known as Sky Rave, is a recurring ability in Final Fantasy series. It is generally used by Dragoons.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

Sky Grinder is a Band ability which utilizes Cecil's Attack and Kain's Jump. The users attack one enemy with a sword and a spear. Damage is reliant on Cecil's Attack and Kain's Jump and it can break the damage limit.

Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy

Kain uses Sky Rave as an HP attack, learned at level 8. It is an aerial, physical-type ability which takes 30 CP to set, 15 when Mastered for 130 AP. It has a melee high priority and can induce Wall Rush. Kain spin downwards while hitting the opponent multiple times and slam them to the ground. It does more damage the longer it makes contact.
