Jim Varney
James Albert "Jim" Varney, Jr., nado o 15 de xuño de 1949 en Lexington (Kentucky) e finado o 10 de febreiro de 2000, foi un actor, cómico e escritor estadounidense. É especialmente coñecido polo seu papel cómico como Ernest P. Worrell, polo cal gañou un Premio Emmy Daytime, así como por aparecer en numerosos filmes e campañas de publicidade na televisión dos Estados Unidos.[1][2][3] Tamén interpretou o papel de Jed Clampett na adaptación cinematográfica The Beverly Hillbillies (1993) e puxo a voz de Slinky Dog en Toy Story (1995) e Toy Story 2 (1999). Morreu de cancro de pulmón no ano 2000, estreándose postumamente os filmes Daddy and Them e Atlantis: The Lost Empire.
