Payphone Hit: The Hitmen is a mission featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as one of the Payphone Hits in The Contract update. It is a Free Mode job that can be conducted in any session type by answering a ringing payphone either randomly encountered or requested by calling Franklin Clinton.

Description

I normally don't fuck with rats, but in this case, some of the homies that used to work for Coil is sitting on all this top-secret evidence about how the company's car batteries are actually poisoning the whole fuckin' earth... After all the green energy marketing and shit? This is un-fuckin-believable, right?
Well, no surprise, but the Coil CEO is panicking. He actually hired some goons to take out our guy before he even goes public. Man, these motherfuckin' batteries are goin' kill us all, and he's worrying about the fuckin' stock tanking. Well look, our client is an insider who cares passionately about truth and the fuckin' environment. And, more to the point, he just bet big against Coil to cash in when the snitch goes public. A minimum of two players are required in player Organizations or Motorcycle Clubs in order to receive this Hit.

Players are required to kill four carloads of The Professionals, eight _targets in total.

They are all in Coil vehicles, two Raidens and two Brawlers.

Bonus Conditions

After receiving the _target locations, Franklin sends a text message spelling out the Bonus criteria. The bonuses are varied.

Try to hit them right when they get to the dude's place. Let's make it clear this ain't no coincidence. More money in it for us if you pull it off.Franklin's TXT for the "destination" bonus.

The easiest way to make get this done is to stick to a drive-by - the client's gonna give us a bonus if you get it just right. Make sure to use an SMG.Franklin's TXT for the "drive-by" bonus.

Client's gonna throw in some extra if you can make it look like every one of these Coil cars is all set to explode. Throw an explosive onto each car and blow it up.Franklin's TXT for the "explosive" bonus.

Destination

Take out the _targets after they all arrive at the clients house.

A _target zone will be marked on the map. The player simply needs to travel there and wait for all four carloads of heavily armed and armored hitmen arrive and then kill them all.

Drive-By

Take out all the _targets in a driveby using a Micro SMG before they get to the client's house.

Catch up to each _target vehicle and shoot the occupants using a Micro SMG from a vehicle. Bonus will be lost if a single enemy car makes it to the client's house.

Note

If the player has a Gunlocker Custom Weapon Loadout enabled without a Micro SMG, it cannot be disabled from the Interaction Menu after the hit has started, and the bonus will be effectively forfeit.

Explosive

Take out all the _targets using throwable explosives before they get to the client's house.

Catch up to each _target and use Sticky Bombs to destroy each Coil car with the hitmen still inside. Bonus will be lost if a car makes it to the client's house.
