Sean Flaherty (born November 15, 1966 in Stamford, Connecticut - died January 4, 2015) was a lead analyst at Rockstar Games from 2004 to 2015.
Career
Flaherty joined Rockstar in February 2004 as a QA tester.
He was credited as part of the Rockstar Test Team on Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto Advance, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories, Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars and Grand Theft Auto V, and as a lead analyst on Grand Theft Auto Online. He also provided the voice of pedestrians in GTA San Andreas and GTA IV.
He was also credited on Red Dead Revolver, The Warriors, Manhunt 2, Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis, Bully, Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3.
Some time prior to his death, Flaherty was diagnosed with cancer. He continued his work with Rockstar Games as long as he could, and two weeks before his death wrote 96 prose poems which were later included in the book The Doctor Series.[1] Flaherty died on January 4, 2015. His obituary was included in the January 16, 2015 issue of The New York Times.[2]
