  • Former Take-Two Interactive CEO Kelly Sumner appears as an Easter egg playable character "Kelly" in the Game Boy Color port of Grand Theft Auto.
    • By renaming his default name to "Sumner", the player unlocks several playable characters based on the Tarantula Studios team involved in the development of the port.
  • In early 2008, EA attempted to purchase Take-Two Interactive for $2 billion. Take-Two stated that EA was taking advantage of the deal because they were going to release Grand Theft Auto IV in a few weeks. In the end, Take-Two Interactive turned the deal down.
