Mutanen Ogu, wani lokacin ana kiransu mutanen Egun, ƙabilu ne da ke mafi yawa a cikin Legas da jihar Ogun a yankin Kudu Maso Yammacin Najeriya . Mutanen Ogu suna da yarurruka daban-daban da suka haɗa da Thevi, Xwela, Seto da Toli kuma suma suna da kusan kashi 15% na 'yan asalin jihar Legas .

Mutanen Ogu sun kasance baƙi a cikin tsohuwar Dahomey da ake kira Jamhuriyar Benin . Tarihin baka ya nuna cewa mutanen Ogu sun kasance daga zuriyar waɗanda suka yi ƙaura daga Whydah, Allada da Weme waɗanda yanzu suke cikin Jamhuriyar Benin sakamakon Yakin Dahomean da ya faru a ƙarni na 18. A cewar Mesawaku, wani masanin tarihi; mutanen Ogu sun yi ƙaura zuwa Badagry tun farkon karni na 15 saboda bukatar tsaro.[1]

Ana samun mutanen Ogu a Badagry da kuma a yankin Yewa da Ipokia na jihar Ogun. Hakanan suna cikin wasu yankuna na Jamhuriyar Benin . Tunda kuma yanayinsu yana kewaye da ruwa, yawancin mutanen Ogu suna sana'ar kamun kifi, sarrafa kwakwa da kuma samar da gishiri yayin da wasu ke harkar kasuwanci da noma. Mutanen Ogu sun yi imani da al'adunsu duk da cewa galibinsu mabiya wasu addinai ne, ana ganinsu suna bautar gumaka da ake kira Zangbeto . (Wani Mai Dare).

Mutanen Ogu suna kamanceceniya da Yarabawa saboda gaskiyar cewa a lokacin 17-18 Daular Dahomey tana ƙarƙashin mulkin Oyo Empire, don haka ƙarfafa dangantaka tsakanin ƙabilun biyu.
