The Lion Bison Moa was a herbivorous magical creature that lived in herds. They were many times larger than humans. Lion Bison Moas had claws similar to those of a moa bird, a face resembling that of a bison, and lion-like ears. Its mane resembles both a bison's and a lion's.[1]
Behind the scenes
- The concept art of the Lion Bison Moa was created by Carlos Huante.
- In Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, there is a herd of unidentified creatures in the background in the scene where Newton Scamander talks to his assistant Bunty Broadacre in his basement. It is possible that the herd are Lion Bison Moas. This is, however, unconfirmed.[2]
