The Egg Boiz are Sir Pentious' minions and antagonists turned supporting characters who made their debut in the Hazbin Hotel pilot.
Appearance
The Egg Boiz, as their names imply, are sentient eggs that have small skinny black limbs. It seems that their yellow eyes are actually inside the large crack in their shells and their mouths are an additional crack on the outside of their shells.
Just like Sir Pentious, they wear a yellow shirt under a grey coat with yellow vertical stripes on it and a black tie. They also wear a black top hat with a pink or magenta stripe atop their shells.
Personality
They all share a goofy, carefree personality, but are also extremely loyal to Sir Pentious despite the latter mistreating them every chance he gets.
Unlike the others, Egg Boi #23 seems to have some sort of masochistic tendencies, desiring to be shot by Sir Pentious, and talking about this to an uncomfortable degree.
But, some of them would agree with Sir Pentious' enemies such as when Angel Dust insulted him and his hat and one of them acknowledged the roast Angel made.
They aren't the brightest, but are very obedient and loyal to their allies that they follow suit without much hesitation or question. Because of this, they aren't too keen on having any sort of emotional attachment to their "bosses", as they didn't show any sadness or resistance when Sir Pentious chose to bid a heartbreaking farewell and let them go.
The Egg Boiz are also bad at keeping secrets, such as when Frank, one of the eggs, obliviously told Sir Pentious about the angel Carmilla killed, despite promising Alastor he'd keep it between them. However, Sir Pentious didn't believe Frank since him and the Egg Boiz are known to say random things, causing a problem for Sir Pentious and his friends since what Frank said was actually true and useful information.
They aren't scared to fight even an Overlord if they seem like a threat to them and their boss.
Mortality
Since their bodies are literal eggs, they can die easily by crushing, falling, and breaking. This indicates that their bodies are very fragile, just like normal eggs.

- One of the Egg Boiz is named Frank, who seems to be the only Egg Boi to have a name, as the other Egg Boiz are listed as "Egg Boiz 1", "Egg Boiz 2" and "Egg Boiz 3" in Charlie's contacts.
- According to Vivziepop, another character helped Sir Pentious create the Egg Boiz.[2]
- At Momocon 2019, when asked by a fan about where the Egg Boiz came from or if Sir Pentious can lay them, Vivziepop and the crew said that they can't say where because they have something exciting planned for that, and it will be explored later in the series.
- They share the same voice actor as Angel Dust in the main series, with both being voiced by Blake Roman.
- In "Dad Beat Dad", it is revealed that several have their own hellphones, as they appear in Charlie's phone contacts.
Development
- In the pilot, each of the Egg Boiz had a number written on their back to help identify them, but what the exact number of them were is unknown, although the highest number seen was #920.
- However, this seems to have been changed in the main series, as there have so far only been five Egg Boiz shown consistently, and none have had anything written on their backs.
