Archie is a major protagonist in the Tales of Arcadia franchise, serving as the deuteragonist of Wizards and a supporting protagonist in Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans.
He is a dragon who can shapeshift into any animal, though he mainly chooses a cat, as his role is a familiar/wizard assistant to Douxie Casperan. He is the son of Charlemagne the Devourer. Eventually, Archie is sealed away in Zong-Shi's lair along with his father, which is the last that is seen of him until the resetting of the timeline.
He is voiced by Alfred Molina who portrayed Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Roadkill from Rango.
Appearance
Even as a dragon, Archie seems to greatly resemble a cat, having black fur with triangular ears and a long tail. When in cat form, he appears slightly more slender and taller, but not quite as large. In dragon form, he has wings that can stretch a fair distance. In both forms, he wears glasses. Other forms include a bird, in which he resembles his cat appearance, except, well, resembling a bird. Another appearance he is seen doing is a fish, in which he appears as a bright orange fish with black markings. In all appearances except as a fish, he has a marking on his chest that is a symbolism of his role as a wizard familiar.
Personality
Archie is often seen as snobbish and sarcastic, often speaking in a more professional and formal way than everyone else, and often gives sarcastic and witty remarks during conversations. Despite criticizing Douxie Casperan, his mentor, a lot, he ultimately greatly cares for him and often makes true efforts to support him, telling him that he'll always follow him. He also had great loyalty to his father, as he opts to stay behind, and even tells Claire Nuñez to tell Douxie he said goodbye, essentially leaving his familiar for all eternity for the sake of remaining with his father.
