The Bannerman Road Gang are the main protagonists in the 2007-2011 series, The Sarah Jane Adventures, a spin-off in the Doctor Who franchise.
The gang was led by Sarah Jane Smith, a journalist who was previously a companion of The Doctor and lived at 13 Bannerman Road in Ealing, London.
The rest of the gang was made up of teenagers (two of which are Sarah Jane's adoptive children Luke and Sky).
The gang made it their mission to keep Earth safe from threats from aliens. They were aided in their missions by Sarah Jane's computer Mr. Smith.
The gang had changes throughout the series; Maria Jackson left the gang due to moving to America as her father had got a job there. Following this, a girl named Rani Chandra joined the gang. Luke later left the gang to attend university but still kept in touch.
By the events of "Farewell Sarah Jane", the gang had disbanded by the time of Sarah Jane's passing with the younger members having their own lives (e.g. Luke working for U.N.I.T., Clyde writing a film adaptation of his comic The Silver Bullet and Rani working as a reporter). At Sarah Jane's request, 13 Bannerman Road was left vacant (with Mr. Smith still there) for the next occupant to continue what they started. Luke, Clyde and Rani remained in touch with one another afterwards and would meet up at Christmas.
