Bomby is a recurring contestant in the animated web series Battle for Dream Island. He is a contestant in the second season, Battle for Dream Island Again, IDFB, Battle for BFDI, and The Power of Two.
He is a fuse bomb that would get scared when his fuse is lit, which causes him to blow up. While he is often seen quite temperamental, he cares about his friends.
He is voiced by Satomi Hinatsu, who also voices Balloony, Basketball, Black Hole, Bottle, Clock, Fanny, Gaty, and Saw in the same show.
Appearance
Bomby takes the appearance of a cartoon fuse bomb. His body is dark gray, with his fuse being beige. In BFB 3, he is partially exploded, which he uses white bandages to cover the damage. He is also shown constantly with puffy cheeks, likely due to eating bananas or cake.
Personality
Bomby can get scared easily, especially when his fuse is lit as it causes him to blow up. Bomby is also shown to be gluttonous, as he is often seen eating a banana or cake.
Bomby can be temperable, especially when he loses his food, such as when Black Hole sucked his banana despite saving his life. He also doesn't seem to value life, including his own.
Bomby does care for his friends though, and shows courage when he is prompted. In "Don't Dig Straight Down", he willingly ignited himself to get his teammates to safety, which kills him in the process. He also ignited himself for the exact opposite reason in "Outbreak At Stake".
Biography
Battle for Dream Island
Bomby first appears in the episode "Insectophobe's Nightmare", where he is seen eating a banana and a piece of cake, with Pin being on top of him. He appears again in "Lofty", where Firey falls onto him and accidentally ignites his string. He then freaks out and proceeds to explode. In later episodes, he often appears within the groups of recommended characters.
He also had a chance to rejoin, however, he placed 2nd place with 73 votes, only losing to David. He does not get sent to the Locker of Losing as he blew up instantly after being flung.
Battle for Dream Island Again
The second season marks his first major role in the series. Bomby was first part of Team No-Name.
In "Insectophobe's Nightmare 3", Nickel suggests that they should ignite Bomby to get rid of the bugs, which Firey does so and explodes.
In later episodes, Coiny persuades him to join the W.O.A.H. Bunch, which he angrily refuses, until the latter threatens him to ignite him by using Firey. Coiny later uses Bomby to destroy Team No-Name's by throwing him into the incinerator.
He later tries to lift Pin out of glue, but he runs away when a tree falls. He later panics when a bowl of petunias fell, which Coiny tells him to stop panicking and comes back to walk with the rest of his team. He later falls into the Evil Canyon, but is saved when Spongy gets impaled by the spikes. He later says "Needy" and gets slapped by Needle, which helps him get out of the canyon.
In the 7th episode of BFDIA and on, Bomby turned purple as it's the prize for having the most likes in that episode. Yellow Face dislikes the color purple so much that he decided to get rid of Bomby. later on the episode, Bomby was seen to be kidnapped by yellow face, and most likely killed and to be turned into grape-flavoring powder.
Battle for BFDI
In "Getting Teardrop to Talk," Bomby is first seen when Pencil threatens Naily, showing his concern for her. But then he notices Loser, him and other people are seen admiring Loser. He is later seen with Firey Jr joining Spongy's team. During the challenge, Gelatin suggests using Bomby for winning the challenge to get the basket to X, but Donut and Firey Jr stops him from doing so as the other team members retrieve the basket to X, being safe.

- Bomby was the first ever recommended character to be ever in an object show.
- Bomby has the highest kill count out of all of the BFDIA newbies at 21+.
- According to Donut, Bomby is the strongest member of Team Ice Cube
- In "The Seven Wonders Of Goiky" marks the first and currently only time Bomby was killed in an explosion that came from something other then him.
- Bomby is the only and first dark contestant to have black eyes and mouth rather than white ones
- According to the Official character guide, one of Bomby's greatest fears is bowls.
