Eric Lamonsoff is one of the main protagonists of the 2010 comedy movie Grown Ups and its 2013 sequel Grown Ups 2.
He is portrayed by Kevin James, who played Doug Heffernan, Paul Blart, Will Cooper, Frankenstein, Griffin Keyes, Otis, and Scott Voss.

Grown Ups
In 1978, Eric and his childhood friends Lenny Feder, Kurt McKenzie, Marcus Higgins, and Rob Hilliard won their junior high basketball championship. After, They celebrated at a lake house. Their coach Robert "Buzzer" Ferdinando, encourages them to live their lives in a similar way to how they played the game. Thirty years later, He is now a co-owner of a lawn furniture company and married father of a daughter Donna and youngest son Bean. Eric and his friends found out that that Buzzer died. They reunite at their hometown in New England with their families and attended Buzzer's funeral. Lenny rents a lake house for he, his family, and friends to stay at for 4th of July weekend.
Lenny Feder felt unhappy about his 2 sons playing video games instead of playing outside. even having Eric demonstrate a rope swing next to the lake, only for Eric to chicken out due to the swing being too high above the water and accidentally hit a nearby tree and falls down and possibly landing on a bird. They went to a local restaurant where meets his old nemesis Dickie Bailey and challenged them to a rematch.
The friends decide to visit a water park, Eric tought his son Beanon how to drink regular milk from a carton. Afterwards Donna was warning Eric about in the children's pool that turns urine blue before he urinates into the pool. When they're at the zip line attraction Lenny and his friends meet Dickie again and his former teamates including Wiley who got injured by trying to zip line by his feet.
On their final day at the lake house, Lenny accepts the rematch once and for all, and plays against their former opponents like when they were kids in middle school. Lenny misses so Dickie's team can win.
Grown Ups 2
Three years after the first film, Eric and his family moved back to their Connecticut hometown of Stanton where he and his friends grew up at.
Sally believed that Eric was practical to his kids despite Bean's bad math skills and daughter's sense of fashion. After he and friends dropped off their kids at school, they decided to roam around during summer and talked about Lenny's bully Tommy Cavanaugh.
When their kids got out of school for summer break, Eric, Lenny, Kurt, and Marcus visited the old quarry, where they used to swim at when they were kids. They encountered Andy and his gang of college frat men. They Eric and hi friends to jumps into the lake naked. Braden, who was partying with the frat men, vandalizes the frat men house. The frat men returned to their house and finds it trashed and covered in graffiti which made them want revenge.
Eric and his family and friends throw an 80s themed party together. The party get interrupted by Andy and his gang trespassing his yard and insults Lenny and his friends before they began to battle. After Andy and his frat men were defeated they fleed the yard leaving the place.
After, Lenny, Eric, Dickie, Kurt, and Marcus eat at Eric's mom's house and ate pancakes together while looking at old photos from their childhood.
