Greymon species is a group of Digimon members that resemble dinosaurs and dragons. They are direct descendants of AncientGreymon, a Mega level Digimon type dragon.

History

Greymon species was direct descendent of AncientGreymon, a Mega level Digimon who protecting Digital World from Lucemon since ancient times. They inherited their predecessor's traits such as emitting fire breathing from their mouths, high intelligence, courage, and leadership soul. They are highly capable as combat species Digimon, and WarGreymon is considered their ultimate final form.

Appearance

They're family of helmeted tyrannosaurid Digimon with half part of Dragon whom each have the suffix "-Greymon" in their name.

Powers and Abilities

  • Brute strength: In their champion stages, they're possessing incredible brute strength allowed them battle other champion level Digimon.
  • Fire breath: Greymon species capable emits powerful fire balls from their mouths.
  • High intelligence: All Greymon species possessing high intelligence such as solved their enemy weaknesses.
  • Flight: In their ultimate or mega levels, they're capable to flight in the air. Allow them battle their enemy opponents in sky.
  • Advanced weaponary: During their ultimate or mega stages, they started possessing advanced technology armaments for further supports them in battle.

Trivia

  • SkullGreymon is the only Greymon species to be a villain, such as facing its enemy like a feral mindless beast.
  • BurningGreymon and DoruGreymon are considered part of Greymon species in english media exclusive only. Thus the two Digimon weren't related to Greymon species in original japanese website source.
  • Despite not the suffix name of Dramon, Samudramon is considered to Greymon species. And he wasn't part of Dramon species in original Japanese source.
