JALAKÅRA, host and benefactor, rose His ancient face,
smiling on the courage of the resurrected human race.
His protection guides us to a heaven in each sacred moon;
Humankind, an army made of angels, thus returns His boon.
Whether in life or death, resilience and strength — that is the human destiny!
Homo sapiens invictus ever shall we be.SCP-5319-2, the lyrics of the first verse of the Three Moons Initiative's anthem.
Jalakåra of the Impenetrable is a character in the SCP Foundation mythos. He is one of the deities native to the afterlife or dimension known as Corbenic and the patron deity of the Three Moons Initiative, aiding the group in protecting humanity from the multiverse.
Appearance
Jalakåra is depicted as a gigantic spider with the face of a bearded human.
Biography
Jalakåra was born as the seventh piece of the Prince of Princes' mind, embodying the Prince's logic. The Prince of Princes was the very first god that came into existence as reality was slowly forming. The Prince of Princes helped in forming the universe by bringing igniting the Flame of Origin in the void which paved way for the rise of various concepts. However, as he rushed his complete birth, he died almost instantly the moment he was finally born. His petrified corpse drifted through existence for millennia until the Tree of Life was created, converting the body into a whole world and revitalizing the eight shards of his mind. Those shards became the Eight Gods, Jalakåra and his brothers, who each represented aspects of their progenitor, with Jalakåra representing the Prince of Princes' logic. Jalakåra settled in Corbenic where he used his webs to bring order to this world. He was fascinated by humankind and their civilizations, and wished to assist them, but despite his best intentions his webs would always trap any being that came to Corbenic without a chance to escape.
He began residing in "The Impenetrable", a massive web-fortress that was located thousands of lightyears above the sky of the afterlife-plane Corbenic, where he was worshipped by some tribes before the arrival of the Three Moons Initiative. He was seen as a god of silence, labor, modesty, obedience, and bureaucracy. He became mortal enemies of the Striders and their leader the Witch-Queen. When the people that would found the Three Moons Initiative, they battled the Striders, and since they had a common enemy Jalakåra came to the human's side.
Jalakåra soon formed a symbiotic relationship with the Three Moons Initiative: he supplied energy and weapons in exchange for worship and servitude, as well as having the final say in all administrative matters.
Powers and Abilities
Being a god native to Corbenic, Jalakåra possessed some control over a portion of the afterlife. He was able to supply the Three Moons Initiative with powers and weaponry which they used to interact with different iterations of humanity from the multiverse, although Jalakåra himself was able to affect the universes as seen when he possibly destroyed Multiversal Iteration 4V which had been taken over by the Administrator.
Jalakåra's blood is known as Grauzh and was used by the Three Moons Initiative to power their series of powerful drones designated SCP-7157-Omega. Valravn Corporation had somehow gotten hold of Jalakåra's blood which they believed was from Odin. Despite his godly strength, Jalakåra, just like his brothers, only held a small fraction of the power his father, the Prince of Princes.
Personality
Not much is known about Jalakåra's personality, but it's evident that the Corbeneze god is somewhat arrogant as he forced his worshippers to constantly praise and revere him, making have his own mindset, and would always have a final say in administrative matters, but otherwise was honorable and goodhearted. He possessed great hatred against the Striders and the Witch-Queen and because of this shared hatred he originally allied with the Three Moons Initiative. However, he did on occasions show some compassion. He once talked to Riordan, a Glassling who originated from the Prince of Princes' Fire, and encouraged him to go on his journey, that his father's power was only for the Glassling to use and shouldn't be taken advantage by others.
