Mike, is a minor character and survivor from Image Comics’ post-apocalyptic horror comic, The Walking Dead, also appearing in the novel, The Walking Dead: The Fall of the Governor. He worked at Fox News as a helicopter pilot until the apocalypse happened. Residing at the Fox News headquarters until he and Christina decided to escape due to the infighting between the survivors. Mike would lose his life after the sabotaged helicopter he used crash-landed near the surviving community of Woodbury.
Personality
While most of his personality is unknown, Mike was described as being a caring and protective man. Having defended Christina during their days in the news station once the survivors began turning on each other. Mike would also use the last moments of his life to safely land the flaming helicopter while Mike himself was burning alive, all to hopefully safe Christina which further shows how selfless Mike was, even up until his death.
Story
Pre-Apocalypse
Most of Mike’s early is unknown, only that he lived in Georgia and that he was a Christian.
Mike would at some point become a helicopter pilot for Fox News, where he came to meet Christina Haben, whom he frequently worked alongside with, and eventually, the two became close friends.
