Peter W. (X-Men Movies)

Peter W. is a minor character in the 2018 superhero film Deadpool 2 and a major character in its 2024 Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel Deadpool & Wolverine. He is one of the members of the X-Force, a team that Deadpool originally recruited to save Russell.

He was portrayed by Rob Delaney.

Biography

Deadpool 2

It is known that Peter was diagnosed with type 1 and 2 diabetes, and that he is married to a woman named Susan. When Deadpool and Weasel were recruiting people for their team, Peter attended the event for fun and was selected despite having no experience, meanwhile he heard Deadpool's plan to save Russell. Peter and the others went to the plane where they planned to jump to follow the truck where Russell was being held captive and after jumping little by little everyone else began to die and Peter managed to save himself but ended up dying trying to save Zeitgeist. Later, Deadpool traveled back in time to save him and revived him.

Deadpool & Wolverine

Due to Wade Wilson being so depressed from his rejection from the Avengers in Earth-616 (MCU) in 2018, he abandoned his superhero identity, and asked Peter to help him get a job at the used car yard where he worked, which he did. Believing Wade was just going through a phase, Peter kept the Deadpool outfit in his locker at work, and over the years would often provide words of support and encouragement.

In 2024, Peter was invited to Wade's birthday party, which Wade vanished from due to being abducted/recruited by the Time Variance Authority, although no one was concerned by his disappearance due to Wade's occasional capriciousness.

Deadpool and Wolverine return from the Void to prevent Paradox's then Cassandra Nova's plot to use the Time Ripper to erase realities. Nova had hired the Deadpool Corps - a mercenary army made of Deadpool variants - and the Corps engage in a brutal battle against the two Canadian heroes. However, due to their healing factors, the dispatched Deadpools shortly regenerated, ready to fight again.

Peter donned Wade's previous Deadpool costume and rushed to help against the Corps. However, when the Deadpool Corps realise who he is, they immediately abandon their contract, since Peter was a multiversal constant, and they all had one, whom they adore. Thus, Peter was cheered by the Corps, allowing Deadpool proper and Wolverine to advance to stop Nova's scheme.

Once Nova was destroyed, another TVA squad arrived, lead by Hunter B-15, due to Paradox's plan with the Time Ripper being an unsanctioned activity, thereby the TVA squad arrived to take him into their custody. Peter joined the group to celebrate, but he and Hunter B-15 are distracted for some time as they became deeply attracted to each other, much to Paradox's disdain.

Peter returned to Deadpool's next party to celebrate the survival of their universe, as well as welcoming Wolverine and the rescued Legacy heroes from the Void.

Trivia

Peter was revealed to be a multiversal constant, meaning that a version of him existed in every universe, at least ones that had a Deadpool variant.
He got his nipples pierced, and had a titanium chain connecting them all due to a whim.
Due to Weasel being left out of Deadpool & Wolverine due to his actor's problems, Peter instead, fills in Weasel's role as Deadpool's best friend.
