Reptillus Maximus is the former secondary antagonist-turned-deuteragonist of the 2015 Christmas special Toy Story: That Time Forgot.
He was voiced by Kevin McKidd.
Personality
Reptillus Maximus is The Cleric's right-hand man and is always loyal and considers the battle all theirs. He always speaks in a somewhat Shakespearean way. Like Buzz, he at first believes he really is what he appears to be in toy form. He also shows that he likes Rex, being a t-rex like him and especially Trixie, as he has romantic feelings for her. However, this can lead him to betray The Cleric, then he tries to eliminate Trixie and the other toys, but then he realizes that he is a toy and so he joins with Trixie and changes his attitude.
Appearance
Reptillus Maximus is a toy red anthropomorphic tyrannosaur-rex, with a light-yellow membrane. He wears dark gray war armor with red stripes more or less everywhere with the Battlesaur emblem on the chest and Roman warrior trousers. He often carries around a club with red plastic crystals protruding from its round head.
History
Reptillus Maximus appears when Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Trixie, Rex and Angel Kitty enter the set of their Battlesaur game. He warmly welcomes Trixie and Rex, falling very much in love with the former, calling her "quite unlike our females", and ignores everyone else, making them visit "Battlepolis". However, he cannot understand when they talk about toys and games, and says that he always refuses to "give up".
Reptillus then shows everyone in the Arena of Pain his talent by "slaughtering" the toys captured by the Battlesaurs. When Trixie tries to stop him, he is perplexed and when he sees the name "Bonnie" on her foot he and the Battlesaurs take it as a sign of surrender, so that Reptillus takes his weapon wounded and disappointed and throws it at Trixie chasing her, and during this, leaving the Battlesaurs set, Reptillus puts his box back where it was before and so realizes with horror that he is a toy, but angrily refuses to accept this and destroys the box. He then corners Trixie, and stops her from turning off Mason's video game console that he and Bonnie are playing, but Trixie explains to them what it means to be a toy and this makes him happy and so he turns off Mason's console so that Mason and Bonnie go to the other room to save their toys.
During the closing credits, a moved Reptillus expresses his wish to be able to see Trixie again one day.
