Biography

Following a call from Dr. Jan on a potential return to Amphibia, Anne and the Plantars head to the Brainaseum where they meet Terri who works for Dr. Frakes. At the urging of the Plantars they pose as reporters in order to see Terri's boss Dr. Frakes. It is soon revealed that the teleporting of Anne, Marcy, and Sasha via the Calamity Box also resulted in Dr. Frakes's skipman being warped to Amphibia where it eventually landed in the hands of Curator Ponds when he was in Newtopia. Back then, Terri saved Frakes from being pulled in the portal. Back in the present where Anne and the Planters were visiting, Terri objects to another portal experiment from Frakes as it is potentially dangerous.

Frakes proceeds to open a portal to another world that turns out not to be Amphibia, this also exposes the Plantars as the frog people they really are. Frakes promptly kidnaps the Plantars, forcing Anne to try and save them with Terri's help. However, Terri is impeded by kids, forcing them to throw their I.D. card to Anne in order to save the Plantars. Terri soon escorts the Plantars to their car while Anne throws a bag of bug cookies to Frakes which leads to a group of kids trampling Frakes. Once they get away from Frakes, Terri expresses their gratitude to Anne and company as they believed science should be done for the benefit of others and not for just themselves.

Trivia

  • According to Marcy's Journay: A Guide to Amphibia, Terri is revealed to be nonbinary as Anne refers Terri by they/them pronouns.
  • Despite looking the same age as Anne, it is possible Terri is a college student as they did question Anne's youth when she pretended to be a reporter.
