Wallace Wells is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Kim Pine and Knives Chau) of the Scott Pilgrim novel series. He also serves as the tritagonist of its movie adaptation Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and a major character in the anime adaptation Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. He is the best friend and a former roommate of Scott.
In the movie and the anime adaptation, he was portrayed by Kieran Culkin, who also portrayed Kevin "Freak" Dillon in The Mighty. In the Japanese version of the anime, he was voiced by Masaya Fukunishi.
Appearance
Wallace is a skinny young man with an average height, being slightly taller than Scott. He has short, slightly messy raven hair and narrow eyes. He is usually seen in black clothes.
Personality

In the comic book series, Wallace is introduced as Scott's gay roommate. When Wallace meets Scott's girlfriend, Knives Chau. He tells her that she is too good for Scott. Later, when Scott meets Ramona for the first time at a party, Wallace suggests that he rents a video from Amazon.ca to increase his chances of seeing her again.
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Just like in the comics, Wallace is Scott's roommate and voice of reason that encourages Scott to fight for Ramona's heart throughout the movie.

Wallace appears as one of the six playable characters in the game.
Scott Pilgrim Takes Off
After Scott's disappearance, Wallace is cast in Young Neil's film adaptation of Scott Pilgrim's Precious Little Life after heckling the previous actor playing him.
