You're not right in the head!White Tiger to Spider-Man
White Tiger (Ava Ayala) is a S.H.I.E.L.D. trainee and the current successor in her family's legacy to bear the name. Originally a lone hero, she joined S.H.I.E.L.D. in an effort to become a right-hand woman to Nick Fury. With the rest of her group, she embarked on many missions and developed further as a hero. Throughout her time with the rest of the group, she rediscovered her hatred for Kraven the Hunter for the murders of her father and grandfather and overcame her desire to kill him herself with the aid of Spider-Man. She controls herself maturely and helps the others with that too.
She is voiced by Caitlyn Taylor Love.
Physical appearance
Ava Ayala is a tall Hispanic-American teenage female who has a slender yet well-toned and muscular build, with brown eyes, brown hair reaching mid-back, broad shoulders, and long, muscular legs.
As White Tiger, she wears a very form-fitting white cat-like suit that presents her well-toned body through the suit, with claw markings on her waist and shoulders, it also has yellow eyes, with her hair sticking out in a long, high ponytail. When under the effects of Kraven's drum, her eyes are razor and her hair is frizzed up.
Personality
Ava is a strict and disciplined Latina martial artist and the only girl on the team. Likewise, she is very dedicated in her duty as the superheroine. Ava is so strong willed and strives to be "perfect" in order to keep the tiger side of her contained. In early seasons it's implied she sees herself as the best choice for team leader and resents Spider-Man being given the position due to his having more "real world experience" than the rest of the team.
After bonding with Spider-Man, seeing his strengths, as well as him preventing her from going done a darker path for vengeance, her view on him became more positive, although she would still criticise his habit of making quips during battle. There seemed to be romantic chemistry at certain points, but this thread is never really explored, particularly as Spider-Man's first team becomes relegated to the background during subsequent guest heroes he teamed up with.
Powers and Abilities
As the latest White Tiger, Aya is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Her costume includes S.H.I.E.L.D tech, like clawed fingernails, but the true weapon in her arsenal is the White Tiger Amulet, an enchanted amulet that grants feline powers to the wearer, but also tries to drive out the bearer's humanity and turn them into an animal.
