Plot

Gouenji's cemetery anecdote

Gouenji, walking by himself at the cemetery, reassures himself things like ghosts don't exist, and notices Endou. He asks him what was he doing there and gets scared by Endou's puffy face.

The following day, Endou explains he was training in the mountains, and got stung by bees. Raimon laughs at this and Endou jokingly says Gouenji was thinking he saw a ghost.

Ominous challenge

Aki slams the door and comes with several letters challenging Raimon, one of which catches the attention of Tamagorou as it has "Curse" engraved in it.

Endou opens it, and it states Raimon has to accept their challenge or else a curse will befall on them. Panicked, Raimon's members start making a ruckus, but Endou rips the letter, telling Raimon not to be panicked and that he accepts the challenge.

Occult encounter

Gouenji, walking home, notices Endou walking towards the cemetery and follows him. To his surprise, Endou prays to Endou Daisuke. Tamagorou and Kurimatsu tell Gouenji Daisuke is Mamoru's grandfather, he was a part of the Inazuma Eleven, and was Raimon's coach.

Thereafter, a strange air appears around them and the captain of Occult, Yuukoku, emerges from it alongside Sanzu, Shikabane, and Reigen. Yuukoku says he wanted to challenge Raimon after learning about their victory against Teikoku Gakuen, but Endou refuses to accept due to their foreboding letter and affirms he does not believe in their curse.

Yuukoku provokes Endou by telling his grandfather is suffering in hell, and tells Gouenji how bad it would be if his sister's condition got worse. Tamagorou tells Occult they're being ridiculous for doing such thing, but Endou stops him and challenges Yuukoku to a 1 on 1 match.

Endou versus Yuukoku

At Raimon, Yuukoku and Endou get in their position for a penalty kick. Endou boldy stays by the right goalpost, alluring Yuukoku to shoot to the right.

Yuukoku starts to reconsider his _target and shoots to the right. However, it curved to the left, which Endou declares he had predicted, performing Nekketsu Punch and successfully stopping it, shocking Yuukoku.

Yuukoku, contemplating his loss, hastily challenges Endou one more time, laying a curse on him and making him unable to move his body, scoring in the process. Yuukoku, alongside Occult, leaves the pitch and tells Raimon he'll be looking forward to their match.
