Info
Imperial Cycle was mentioned in the Story 3 of Inazuma Eleven Outer Code. Kazemaru, who was transferred to Teikoku Gakuen as a reinforcement committee member, ordered the team to start practicing this tactic.
It was later used during the match between Teikoku Gakuen and Inakuni Raimon. It took the ball from Inamori Asuto, and directly after using it, with some quick passes, Sakuma got the ball in front of Inakuni Raimon's goal, scoring the 3-2 for Teikoku. It was used later again, stealing the ball from Kozoumaru this time.
Usage
Six members in 2 rows of 3 people runs toward the enemy with the ball. As they run, the ground turns into a green grid. The 6 members together, create a purple hexagon that traps the opponent in the center. Each member then has a glowing purple line that extends to the opponent. One member advances in and steal the ball from the opponent.

Trivia
- This is the first hissatsu tactic introduced to the Ares no Tenbin series.
- In the Cantonese dub, it was renamed to "帝國包圍網" roughly translating to "Imperial Siege" or "Imperial Encirclement".
- When this tactic was used for the first time, as Sakuma said "Imperial Cycle Hatsudou!" (Imperial Cycle Activated!), its typography also included "Hatsudou!" (発動!) followed the tactic name. This was a mistake, and the other hissatsu tactics later introduced to the series only have their name in the typography.
