I can't tell if you are seriously defending that song or you can't figure out a better reason other than your personal taste.

@Babysharkboss2 To be honest, I didn't completely understand what you said. I'm also not completely informed about spanish releases, because spanish is my weaker language compared to french, but I think that it's the same for them (maybe even same for italian as I think Italy was the second most reading european country), but what I wanted to say is that the Viz print is pointless. Think about it, you pay twice the amount for a hardcover which isn't necessary when you consider the tankoban art. I'm sure that if you respect the manga art, you would much rather have each tankoban's art seperately and admire it. And not only it's a better option - it's a cheaper option. French is an example that I use to critique the english translation. And also, I'm pretty sure everything is close to on release in french and you don't need to wait. You have everything translated. With my experience with english releases, the translations aren't as natural as you can receive in french. The cusses are kept. I'd like to compare a french volume of SO and an english one.

@Oddball53634 @Attack on sincara55 @Ya Boi King Kai I will disagree strongly with Great Days here. My first disagreement is a bit personal, I think it's overrated in the sense that it's a popular opinion and I support unpopular opinions more, but this argument holds no value of course. My second disagreement is that, although the song is beautiful lyrically, I don't really find it fitting especially in the way that I interpret part 4's ideas. Way more unfitting in its part compared to chase's placement. I don't want to insult you all, but at one point when you listen to that opening too many times it will start to sound a bit corny. And finally, this isn't really the song that fires me up in for a JoJo episode compared to the punk beat and energy that chase holds (or for example Traitor's requiem which is the other song that I like the most).

@BUCCIARATEA it seems you are talking more of a cultural significance of an opening. If so I'd have to go with Fighting Gold or Sono chi no sadame or as you said Bloody Stream. But still musically, I totally would disagree that it has to be obliged with something. Chase is perfectly fitting for its part and also its placement as a second opening of the part and also the lyrics are just great if you ever checked out lyrics of openings. You can argue that it's so for all openings, but arguably chase is a more pleasurable fit.

Of the openings you listed, the only song that I would say really compares is Bloody Stream. Sono chi no sadame - definitely not, it's rather cringe than epic (as this is what vibe tries to give off) and Stand Proud is honestly mid, it doesn't even get you that fired up for the show compared to its second opening. Overall though, you may disagree with me here, because it's music. Imo the closest to Chase is Traitor's requiem. Traitor's reqiuem is a perfect opening. It gives you hype, ups and downs similar to the rocking path of part 5, but for me the chorus part kinda flops it bellow chase.
