Universal's Island of Adventure is a theme park in Orlando, Florida. In the center of the park is the Jurassic Park section. This section is, for the most part, meant to replicate the real park from the film. It is the largest of the Jurassic Park-themed sections within Universal parks.
Park Gates
The park gates are similar to the ones featured in the movie Jurassic Park. There used to be two on each side although the other one got removed when Skull Island Reign of Kong was built.
Camp Jurassic
This mega recreation area is a multi-level prehistoric playground where kids can have mammoth-sized fun. Explore dark caves and amber mines, climb dinosaur-capture nets and negotiate swaying suspension bridges as the ground rumbles with the roar of dinosaurs. This area is heavily themed and has multiple hidden areas along with many interactive features, it could take up to hours to experience and see everything.
Pteranodon Flyers
A Pteranodon-themed kiddie coaster found inside the Camp Jurassic area. There is a heigh requirement making sure only young children can get on although people taller than the height can still get on if they either have a child or participate in a special event that grants access to ride the ride. This attraction has a very simple layout but does offer some good views of the Jurassic themed area.
Jurassic Park River Adventure
For a complete description, see Jurassic Park: River Adventure
The main ride in the JP section is the Jurassic Park water ride. You start off in a small boat that takes you through a tour of the park. Suddenly a dinosaur jumps out of the water and knocks you off course. You start going into a restricted area. You see Compys eating a worker. You start going up. You enter a large dark building. Inside the building raptors are tearing apart the power supplies. The room is filled with raptors and the raptors loud noises. When you get to the top of the building you see a life-sized T.rex head. He roars at you and opens his mouth to eat the boat you are on. Right when you are about to get eaten the boat suddenly drops down an 85-foot waterfall, and then the ride is over.
Velocicoaster
For a complete description, see Veloicoaster or Jurassic World: Velocicoaster
Recently a few years ago Velocicoaster opened, described through advertising the "Apex predator of coasters." This ride is themed around a roller-coaster being built in the Velociraptor paddock for a guest attraction, but as expected it does not go well. Once done going through the highly immersive que and putting your items in the dinosaur themed lockers, you will watch a pre-show while moving through line that has Owen Grady and Claire Dearing arguing over if it's a good idea or not. Once on the ride you are next to the raptor cages holding Blue, Echo, Charlie, and Delta. Your cart will come to a stop as you watch the pack bolt out before a pulsing sound starts playing and you are launched 0-50 miles per hour into a small area that features two inversions as you go through rocks and avoid the Velociraptors. Once done with the first section you transition into the second, where you go into the second launch the coaster has. This launch will bring you into it going 40 mile per hour straight to 70 before heading up to a 155-foot-tall top hat. This provides an amazing but short view of the rest of the theme park since you will be quickly dropping down around 140 feet. This will send you over a walkway with a two second upside down stall before going in a circle to then go through the iconic Mosasaurus roll, then the ride is over. This coaster is highly regarded as one of the best in America, or the world, but that is not factual and just public opinion.
Jurassic Park Discovery Center
See Jurassic Park Discovery Center for a complete description
It has a building that looks similar to the Visitor Center. Inside the main rotunda of the building are several skeletal mock-ups of Tyrannosaurus rex, Apatosaurus, and a Pteranodon. The building has a gift store, diner, and a learning center. Recently, the bottom floor of the visitor center has turned into a gift shop for the VelociCoaster and also has lockers too.
The Burger Digs
Burger Digs is a restaurant connected to the visitor center. Suggested by the name, this place offers many types of burgers and provides seating around the entire top area of the visitor center.
Thunder Falls Terrace
Thunder Falls Terrace is a small restaurant next to the drop off zone of Jurassic Park River Adventure. Along with a variety of food options there is a large amount of seating and restrooms.

Trivia
- The Islands of Adventure was featured with Universal Studios Hollywood in Warpath: Jurassic Park as Albertosaurus‘ arena. Also when completing the arcade mode as Albertosaurus (with Acrocanthosaurus using the Universal Studios arena in the final stage), instead of showing the credits it showed an advertisement for Universal Studios Florida.
- The Velociraptors of Isla Adventura are revealed to be actually V. mongoliensis and not V. antirrhopus.
