Sir Alfred of Landreth (or simply Alfred) is an overarching protagonist of the Netflix series Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, appearing as the main antagonist in the 2nd half of the third season.

Personality
At first glance it seems that Alfred is a noble and corageous knight and great brother to Luthera, he taught her values to be a knight, to be smart and respectable and gave her great hopes that she can become a knight one day. Luthera went on a mission to arrest Veruca and Klaus for the dissapearance and apparent murder of Alfred, which Alfred reappeared and could avenge his death by killing Veruca.
But then his true colors appeared when he decided to instead of destroying the ancient weapons, he use them to enforce a totalitarian regime of peace where no kind of conflict and animosity is allowed, he killed the leader of a gang of crocodile lizards to make an example, he even apparently arrested 2 bar regulars that were bickering over a chess game. Alfred had a "ends justify the means" mindset, he believed in being the only one capable to maintain peace over the world at the cost of everyone's freedom and he wanted to unify the world into Pangea so people don't be separated from diferent land masses, despite doing this will cause a great damage to the world infrastructures, buildings, make mass casualties. He also was able to convince many of his close ones and himself he is right in doing the greater good
He felt ultimately betrayed when Luthera and Lucinda turned against him, now that Lucinda chose not to sacrifice the world over the love of her son. but he was ultimately convince he was doing the opposite of protecting the world and would be his fault is destroyed because of his ego, so he agreed to destroy the ancient weapons and let go of his power to protect the world. After doing the deed, he accepted he wasn't a good brother and Luthera is a better knight he ever was
