recensereExploratores hispani ad Sinum Mobiliensem anno 1519 advenerunt. Prima colonia Europaeana in Mobile anno 1702 constituta est. Britannia eam anno 1763 cepit per pactum Lutetiae, et postea eam Civitatibus Foederatis Americae cessit.
Anno 1819 Alabama libera civitas Civitatum foederatarum facta est, sed anno 1861 ab ista foederatione cum aliis civitatibus formans Confoederationem Statuum Americae Septentrionalis exiit. Bellum incitavit CFA contra illam confoederationem et vincens duxit Alabamam ad oboedientiam sub iugum redintegrationis.
